Who are your bartenders?

Guests interact with the bartender more than any other vendor at an event, sometimes, we are the only vendor they will meet . Choosing the right company with professional, mature and highly trained bartenders can create memories to last for years, avoid mishaps, prevent over-pouring and save you money. We feel honored to be invited to share the most important moments of your life and we strive to make sure that your special event is absolutely unforgettable.

Sol-Tree Bartenders are not your average BARtenders. This isn't just a side hustle for us, it's our passion! Everyone on our team is a working professional, parent, or business owner. We are all skilled bartenders who hold ServSafe and TIPS certifications. We pride ourselves on much more than the perfect cocktail. We pride ourselves on timeliness, tidiness, professionalism, transparency, friendly service, and expertise in cocktail catering experiences.
Our experience orchestrating special events ensures that every detail runs seamlessly. You will never find long lines, messy bars, or watery or strong drinks at our bars. To us, bartending is a craft to be respected and an art form to be admired. We see every pour, every drink, and every little detail as an opportunity to elevate each bar experience. Do you have a liquor license?

No, Sol-Tree Cocktail Co. is a pouring service only. According to Florida Statue 561.20(2)(a)5 we are not considered a “catering” company because we do not serve, store or prepare food and therefore do not qualify for a liquor license. Only caters who provide 51% of gross sales at an event in food sales can provide liquor, beer or wine. All products provided by this type of caterer must be purchased through a licensed vendor and alcoholic beverages not used at the event must remain with the customer or be returned to the vendor for credit or reimbursement.

Can Sol-Tree Cocktail Co. host a cash bar?

No, our pourtenders and barologist happily accept tips but we do not offer a cash bar as a service.

Exclusions may apply for nonprofits, city and business permit extensions, and festivals. For these public events, please contact us and we can help answer any permitting questions you may have.

Can Sol-Tree provide alcohol?

Due to Florida State statues, we can not provide any alcoholic products to our clients. We are a pouring service only. We can facilitate your order through our partnership with a local retailer or you can purchase your own alcohol through a retailer of your choice for a B.Y.O Bar. With the B.Y.O. option, you may save money slightly by providing the alcohol, but we do charge a $150 corkage fee if our preferred retailer is not used for events over 50 guests. The corkage fee does not apply to events held on private residential property.

Why will I be charged a corkage fee for providing my own alcohol?

Our mission is simple: make great bars at events easy! After 7 years of tending bars for events in Brevard County we have perfected the way our local clients host bars. With our exclusive partnership with a local retailer and delivery company are able to provide clients an inclusive product package that delivers all of you bar needs (spirits, beer, wine, mixers and coolers/ice. ) directly to your event the day of. This service not only makes our clients planning process much easier but it also greatly allows for accuracy of orders, ingredients, quantities and arrival times on event days. This service is the main ingredient to our over 100+ successful events on the Space Coast.

How do I know how much and what to buy?

Whichever procurement option you choose, we will help you with product calculations and a suggested shopping list. Keep in mind – you know your guests best! EVENTS HAVE A VARIETY OF VARIABLES THAT WILL AFFECT CALCULATIONS- TIME OF YEAR, TIME OF DAY, TYPE OF EVENT, SIZE, BRANDS, TEMPERATURE, AND AGE ALL CAN AFFECT THE DRINKING STYLE OF YOUR GUESTS. YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR SHOPPING LIST TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR PERCEIVED NEED.

How many beers should I serve?

This is completely up to you but we would like to share our thoughts. You probably don’t need as many beers as you think. We have found that guests at most of our events choose spirited cocktails over beer unless it is local craft brew.

What is the difference between the Cocktail Bar & Full Bar Services?

The Cocktail Bar Service is limited to 2-4 specialty cocktails you select from our menu. The Full Bar Service includes specialty cocktails & fresh juices & garnishes so we can make all of the classic cocktails and basic mixed drinks.

Where are you located and will you travel?

We are located in the heart of the Space Coast in Melbourne, Fl. Travel within Brevard County is included in our base package pricing but if you know anything about Sol-Tree, we are always up for a good road trip!

Do you serve coffee? ☕️

Yes! We love cocktails but we love coffee just as much. We serve locally roasted Foxtail Coffee Co. coffee, delicious hot chocolate, and locally sourced tea from Momma Joe’s. We would love to follow up your cocktail hour with a coffee hour! This is a great option for brunch events, baby showers, and galas.
For an upgraded coffee experience we have partnered with local barista Jason Reed of Cosmic Café. Jason has several coffee bar experiences ranging from a made-to-order expresso bar to a full-size Air Stream Coffee Trailer. This is the perfect addition to corporate events and festivals.

Do you offer mocktails?

We offer all kinds of soft drink options- mocktails, coffee, sodas, espresso stations, cocoa, and cider.

Do you provide glassware?

We no longer offer glassware rentals. But we would be happy to recommend local rental companies Mimosa’s and Moonshine and Chairs for Affairs for your rental needs. If you would like to use glass at your event, please talk to your catering company about table service options, collection and clean up. Our bartenders remain at the bar during events and are not able to service tables as well.

Can the mobile bar be used for other things?

Absolutely! Our rigs can be used as groom's lounges, dessert bar, ice cream shops, flower vendor, coffee stations, photobooth, and more. Businesses are welcome to contact us about custom branding options. Our bar, your brand!

Setup Requirements for the Mobile Bars

We require flat ground for set-up and service, and clear access for set-up and clean-up. If your event is located somewhere without electricity and you’ve booked one of our bars requiring electricity, we can add a generator to your package.

Can we add our own decor?

Of course. We also have several styles of candles, vases, signs, jars, lanterns, frames and greenery that you may use for your event.

How far in advance do we need to book?

As soon as possible! Dates during peak season book up well in advance, Due to the amount of inquiries we receive and the limited amount of Saturdays during peak season (Oct-May) our calendar tends to fill up quickly. We require a non-refundable retainer to SAVE THE DATE of your event. This amount will go towards your final payment.

Are you insured?

We carry a 2 million general liability insurance policy and $1 million liquor liability policy.

If you purchase the alcohol through our strategic partner, we assume the liability of the event, if you provide the alcohol, the liability of your event will be held by you.

What is your payment and refund/cancelation policy?

Our contract outlines our cancelation policies. There are fees associated with canceling and postponing your event, so please make sure you are ready to book when you sign your contract. We are limited to the number of events we can do on any given day and when you book, we stop taking inquiries for your event date.
We require a 50% or $250 SAVE THE DATE retainer (depending on the type of event) to secure your event reservation. Progress payments can be set up in any increment and at any frequency that matches your budget best. Final Payment must be made 7 days prior to the event date.

Do you have a rain date policy?

Due to our advanced booking model, we, unfortunately, can not accommodate last-minute date changes for inclement weather. The host is responsible for tent coverage of the bar in the event of rain. We are happy to work with your tent vendor to find the appropriate size tent for your event.
